Product Changelog
A running log of notable features, improvements, and fixes across the Sentry platform.
Recent updates
The Trust Centre no longer lists each update four times Fix
Each update on the Trust Centre had been stored four times. The duplicates were removed and the update list can no longer be seeded twice.
Discard, Accept and Flag on a profile now work Fix
In the Collected facts review on a profile, the Discard, Accept and Flag buttons and the contact Promote and Discard buttons did nothing. They now record your decision, a discarded item leaves the list and is not collected again, and accepting an item no longer adds a duplicate.
Access control: set who can do what, and see what a rule would block first Feature
Administrators can control, per person or per role, who may run searches, view results, export, use AI analysis and work with dossiers. Organisation policies can block a source or feature for everyone, and individual dossiers and profiles can be restricted to named people. A change is previewed before it is saved and shows who it affects. Enforcement is introduced in a watch-only mode first and is off until an administrator turns it on, so nothing changes for anyone until then.
Teams: members and invitations in one place, bulk actions and a clearer audit log Feature
The Teams page shows seats used, pending invitations and last sign-in, lets you search and filter members, act on several at once, invite many people in one step and export the member list. A manager can now invite as Manager and see the invitations they sent, which previously failed. The audit log says what changed from what to what, who changed it, when and from where.
The Intelligence and System Tools menus are grouped by task Feature
Related pages now share one menu entry with tabs: Monitors, History, Third-party risk, Technology and vulnerabilities, Risk settings and Threat intelligence under Intelligence, and Brand protection, Image analysis, Reports and Integrations under System Tools. No page address changed. The search page now opens on your searches with a button to start a new one.
System Health reads real figures and says when it cannot measure something Fix
The page showed zero active feeds and zero errors beside thousands of collected items because its main query failed and was hidden. It now lists services with live checks, collection, the search queue, the analysis backlog, a 24-hour chart, feeds in error with their messages and provider failure rates. A section that cannot be read is named and shown as unavailable, never as zero.
Sentry Social: manage your own social accounts Feature
A separate module for scheduling and publishing posts, a content calendar, a unified inbox for comments and mentions, listening, reputation and reports. It is off until it is enabled for your organisation, and what each platform allows differs: for example LinkedIn and TikTok offer no inbox, and some platforms limit search. A person approves every reply that needs approval and the writing assistant never publishes anything.
Set your own tier thresholds, cadence and notifications Feature
A new Tier settings page lets the owner or an administrator of your account set how often profiles and suppliers are rescored and when you are notified, for each watch tier. Anything you leave blank follows the platform default as it changes.
Every item is labelled fresh, recent, aging, historical or date unknown Feature
Labels are measured from when the event happened, never from when we collected it. You can filter and sort by freshness on feeds, search results, alerts, Live Intelligence, the review queue and profile evidence. An item with no reliable date still alerts in the app but is held back from text message and push unless it is critical and the analysis is confident. Historical items no longer sit at the top of lists because they were collected today. The thresholds are set by an administrator.
Searches now honour exclusions and the place and employer you typed after a name Fix
An exclusion such as minus quote Francisco Edgar star quote now removes people with a second family name, and plain excluded terms are checked on every result. Words typed after a quoted name, such as a city or employer, are checked on the results and must appear near the name, otherwise the result goes to Review instead of the main list. The search form offers the same identity fields as the feed wizard, and details you give about a person are used in the queries sent to every source.
Pull Historical Data on a search now collects like a data feed Feature
The button used to re-run the search once with a date filter. It now collects from every source a feed would use, day by day, pages each day to the end and runs in the background with progress and a notice when it finishes. Results arrive in a feed linked from the search, not in the search's own results list. Backfills now run in a dedicated worker, one job per user at a time, so a large pull no longer stops collection for everyone.
Supplier and profile exports can be checked against the original Feature
The supplier assessment (PDF, JSON, events CSV) and the profile PDF and JSON are now stored when they are issued. A document carries a reference and a content fingerprint, and the public verification page can tell a recipient whether a file is byte-for-byte what was issued. A match says the file is unaltered. It does not say the content was correct, and this is not an electronic signature. The supplier page and the profile page now show the export buttons directly.
Monitor named staff alongside a company Feature
On a company profile or a supplier you can add the people to watch, such as the CEO or CFO. Each person is searched as a name together with the company or the title, so namesakes are not collected. Their coverage is collected in a feed of its own and is visible and alertable, but it does not change the supplier or profile scores.
Supplier alerts no longer repeat on every collection cycle Fix
A supplier whose score had not changed could raise the same multi-event alert again and again. Alerts now fire when a threshold is crossed or the band rises, and a multi-event alert needs a minimum score and real growth in the number of events. Score changes are explained on the supplier page, and scores are shown to one decimal with the same labels everywhere.
Supplier scoring keeps stories that name the supplier, and stops matching every story in its country Fix
A story whose title or opening text names the supplier now counts as a match even when its location is missing or elsewhere, and is labelled as a name match. In the other direction, a supplier is no longer matched to every news story from its country or city. A statement by a head of state in the supplier's capital no longer counts against it. The scoring window is now 180 days and includes items with no publication date, dated by when they were collected.
